International University
International Relations Office has been working since the foundation of the university. The Office has signed 60 bilateral agreements with 19 different countries and achieved the recognition of the undergraduate degrees.
As International Relations Office and the University, we believe that each student should have an experience of education abroad. We closely see that having an experience abroad provides an important contribution to the personal development of students. Hence, we aim to send our successful students to abroad within the framework of Erasmus programmes. Our students can complete their internship abroad with Erasmus grant as well.
International Relations Office lends assistance for the incoming students too.We try to help incoming students especially about their official documents such as passport, visa, residence permit, banking matters and other issues related to their student life like accommodation and so on. Every semester, we organize an orientation for the incoming students and try to make the adaptation of the students to Turkey and to the university easier by giving necessary information.
In addition to Erasmus students, International Relations Office accepts Erasmus trainee within the framework of Erasmus Student Mobility for Placements. We generally accept 2-3 trainees per year; however number of admissions depends on the workload. As a result of evaluation of the progress of the placement, student shall get a certificate of attendance at the end of his/her training period. In order to submit placement demands and to learn available periods, please contact with IRO staff.
IGU International Relations Office is located in the Rectorship Building, new Ambarlı campus next to the main road. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 18:00
