“EU-RUDISNET” project training evaluation meeting was held

Istanbul Gelisim University is the Turkish partner of the EU-RUDISNET project, which aims to integrate individuals living in rural areas and with disabilities into social life through mentoring and leadership.

The 4th Transnational Meeting of the project, coordinated by COCEMFE Sevilla from Spain, was held in Maribor, Slovenia, on 23-24 November 2022. The meeting, hosted by OZARA d.o.o., was accompanied by the institutions such as Ländliche Erwachsenenbildung Thuringia, Consorzio SGS and Baltic Education Technology Institute, which are in partnership with Istanbul Gelisim University.

THE PLATFORM IS PLANNED TO BE READY IN FEBRUARY!

The EU-RUDISNET project meeting, where the details of the curriculum prepared for disabled people living in rural areas were discussed, was held last month. Planned to be completed by February 2023, pilot implementations of the curriculum will continue in five countries by the summer. The course, in which leadership skills will be taught in 6 modules, was designed for education professionals working with disabled people living in rural areas.

“OZARA d.o.o.” WORKSHOP VISITED

OZORA d.o.o, which provides employment opportunities for 50% disabled people, also has various business lines for disabled people. OZARA d.o.o. planned a study trip to the production site to give a vision to the partnership. Transnational meeting participants visited disabled people at work. Participants had the opportunity to observe the experiences of disabled people and chat with them in the workshop, where different works were carried out from PVC window frame construction to cleaning the bread proofing basket.
