Collaboration for sustainable education

A protocol of cooperation was signed between Avcılar District National Education Directorate and Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) in order to organize regular, sustainable education and projects to increase the welfare level of the society and to transfer experiences by identifying common strategies.

Avcılar District National Education Director Barış Yıldız and its delegation met with IGU Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdulkadir Gayretli, IGU Rector Prof. Dr. Burhan Aykaç, IGU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nail Öztaş, IGU Secretary-General Asst. Prof. Dr. Serdar Çöp and Head of IGU Corporate Communication and Promotion Department Bülent Değirmenci. Within the scope of the signed collaboration protocol, decisions were taken in many areas such as education, culture, technology development, conducting joint projects, organizing regular and sustainable education and projects for increasing the welfare level of the society, and transferring experiences by identifying common strategies.

Mentioning the importance of the protocol signed with Avcılar District Directorate of National Education, IGU Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdulkadir Gayretli said: “The total number of students studying at universities and the schools in the above-mentioned district is around 100 thousand. Together with this collaboration, we will organize regular and sustainable education and share our experiences with each other.”
