IGU and Palestine An-Najah National University agreed on cooperation

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) and Palestine An-Najah National University agreed on cooperation about many subjects such as bilateral agreements, student and academic exchange programs, joint scientific congresses.

The committee from Palestine An-Najah National University visited the School of Physical Education and Sports of Istanbul Gelisim University. IGU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nail Öztaş and Director of the School of Physical Education and Sports Mehmet Soyal met with the committee and decided to cooperate under many headings.

Referring to the importance of international agreements and cooperations, Öztaş emphasized that academics can find new scientific research areas by going to different universities. Stating that the strategy of internationalization in Turkish higher education attracted the attention of the Arab world as well, Öztaş said: “We took the first step of our association with An-Najah National University, which is among the top 50 universities in the Arab world in QS ranking, through this meeting and the decisions we made.”
