Senior students of Istanbul Gelisim University Mechatronics Engineering Department presented their projects, which they prepared individually or as a team under the title of "Mechatronics System Design" course, to the instructors. A total of 14 projects such as Unmanned Submarine Design, Artificial Intelligence Based Voice Assistant and Automatic Incubator were highly appreciated.

Giving information about the "Unmanned Submarine Design" project, Serkan Yılmaz, a student of the Department of Mechatronics, said: “The submarine released into the water from any manned marine vehicle is difficult to notice due to its size and the minimum signals it emits. It is capable of performing tasks in the basic category such as spying, observing, collecting information, controlling the seas, taking videos thanks to its 360 ° rotating camera system and transmitting it to land instantly. Necessary modifications and minimally sized weapon integrations can be made to this submarine. Can be used in the military or commercial field”

Providing information about the "Artificial Intelligence Based Voice Assistant" project, the owners of the project, Mustafa Batuhan Pınarbaşı and İsmet Eren Bozdaş, said: “We tested our artificial intelligence-based voice assistant, which has become an indispensable feature of smart devices with the recently popular and developing technology in the world. Currently, our assistant can play music, search through internet browsers, view current news through the browser, tell the time, take pictures with the built-in camera of the computer, record and turn off the computer.”
