Established under the Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Continuing Education Center (IGUSEM) Sports Academy training programs are starting. Expressing that individuals working in the sports field will allow them to update their knowledge IGUSEM Sports Academy Coordinator Assoc. Dr. Kubilay Çimen said: “In line with the needs and expectations of the real sector, we have prepared certified training programs to produce new programs, contribute to the efficiency and quality of the services produced. We will bring together the well-known and experienced names of the sector to the participants with the training programs prepared by academicians specialized in their fields.”

“WE PLANED WITH JOINT WORK”

Indicating due to the fact that sports science has close relations with all other disciplines many professions provide employment in sports services Çimen added: “Our certified training programs for 2019 have been prepared with the cooperation of IGUSEM and IGU School of Physical Education and Sports. In this context, we are launching our first training program on 23 March 2019 with the Exercise and Sports Psychology Association”

Training programs to be held during the year are listed as follows:

Applied Exercise and Sports Psychology Certification Program (Mentor & Psychological Performance Coaching), Child Protection and Welfare Program, 4 - 6 Years Special Teaching Methods, Handicapped Education Methods, Family Education for Children with Disabilities, Child Protection and Wellbeing, Sales Management in Fitness Services, Fitness Service Industry Structuring and Management, Career Planning in Fitness Sector, Organization in Sports Schools, Basic Movement Education in Children 4 - 6 Years, Biomechanical Analysis in Sport and Technical, Competition Analysis, Spinning Instructorship, Pilates Instructorship, Fitness Measurement and Evaluation Training Program, Sportive Performance Assessment and Training Program, Sportive Tendency Selection and Orientation to the Correct Sports Branch Training Program.
