Curated by Lect. Irem Fulya Özkan from Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Department, the exhibition compiled from the works of nearly 70 students will meet with the visitors on 20 December.
The exhibition titled “Sustainable Future” will begin on December 20 at the Turkish Journalists' Association Press Museum. The “Sustainable Future” exhibition will be opened to visitors with the opening ceremony at 13.00.
EXHIBITION OF WORKS MADE WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE SUSTAINABLE FUTURE PROJECT
“Sustainable Future” project organized by Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Fine Arts Graphic Design Department, set out with the aim of producing interactive projects that will raise awareness in the fields of accessible and clean energy, life in water and gender equality, zero hunger, quality education, climate action, Sustainable Cities and life, which are within the scope of “United Nations Development Goals”. The projects in the workshop held will be exhibited in the “Sustainable Future” title.
NEARLY 70 STUDENTS PROJECTS ARE EXHIBITED
The exhibition consists of works in which Graphic Design students visualize a wide spectrum of topics from equal societies to endangered creatures, from addiction problems to climate crisis, with the “Assembly Technique” under the direction of Lect. Irem Fulya Özkan. Nearly 70 students took part in the project team, which consisted of students from the Faculty of Fine Arts. In the workshop that took place, works that drew attention to the main theme of sustainable art and design with everyday materials were revealed.
THE EXHIBITION CAN BE VISITED UNTIL 1 JANUARY
The exhibition, which was opened on 20 December 2022 at 13.00, can be visited at the Turkish Journalists Association Press Museum until 1 January 2023.
