22nd Izmir Short Film Fest awards find their owners. Produced by Eda Çekimci, the short film project “Aç Açına” ranks first in the Film Lab Project Competition, held within the scope of the festival.
22nd of Izmir International Short Film Fest, which was held in 2000 for the first time and is one of the most important film fests in Turkey, was held between the dates November 22-28. Festival brings cinema fans and important names together at the workshops and panels with the Film Lab program, held for the first time this year. Within the scope of the Film Lab, supported by the Ministry of Culture, General Directorate of Cinema and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, an award-winning project competition was held.
From Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema Res. Asst. Eda Çekemci went up the jury together with the director of the film, Ahmet Toğaç, in the Film Lab Project Competition with her short film project "Aç Açına", which she produced. The film project won the Folkart Film Lab Production Award and left the festival with an achievement.
