Istanbul Gelisim University Gelisim Vocational School student National Weightlifter Duygu Alici, Physical Education and Sports School students Burcu Alici and Şeyma Çil added a new one to their success in the "U23 Türkiye Sadık Dirim Weightlifting Championship". Duygu Alici became the Champion of Türkiye, Burcu Alici broke 4 records in Türkiye, and Şeyma Çil became the 2nd in Türkiye.
“U23 Türkiye Sadık Dirim Weightlifting Championship” was held in Tokat between 25-29 January 2023.
They ranked first among 350 Athletes

The winners of the "U23 Türkiye Sadık Dirim Weightlifting Championship" organized by the Turkish Weightlifting Federation in Tokat have been announced. In the 4-day weightlifting races, Duygu Alici from Istanbul Gelisim University Sports Management Program, Burcu Alici from the Department of Sports Management and Şeyma Çil from the Department of Coaching Education achieved great success among 350 athletes.
The students competing in the 49 kg, 55 kg and 87 kg categories returned to IGU with their medals.
