Won 14 awards with his short film 'Necroman'
Ercan Er, who made short films in horror and thriller style, attracted great attention with his second movie named “Necroman” in national and international festivals.
The world premiere of the film, which was shot in Istanbul, was held within the scope of the "Midsummer Scream Halloween Festival" held in Los Angeles, USA. The film won 14 awards in total, among them were hte nominations 'Best horror movie' at Southeast Regional Fest, 'Spooky set design' at Creepy Tree Fest, “Best Director” at Monsterflix Awards and the "official film" at the Santiago Horror Film Fest, which is shown as one of the most distinguished festivals in the world,
Written by Ercan Er and Serdar Atam, the film was produced by Aykut Gökmen Çalışkan, the executive producer was Tandoğan Muzır, the artistic director was Caner Savaş, the director of photography was Cihan Gedik, and the director was Ercan Er, a graduate of Istanbul Gelisim University, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema.
The film's cast featured names such as Hülya Diken, Bülent Arslan, Emircan Turan, Sude Gerzan, Ahmet Okay, Gazel Yüksel and Yılmaz Kaya. The film, which has a short shooting time of 12 minutes, continues to appear in festivals abroad.
