IGU Has Students From 4 Continents
Istanbul Gelişim University welcomed a delegation from South Africa. International students and foreign states are very interested in the University, which proves its education quality with 53 programs accredited from Europe. Many students from Asia, Africa, Europe and America continue their education at the University.
Mariette Pittaway, a member of the Free State Province Legislative Assembly of the Republic of South Africa, expressed his excitement for the achievements of the Istanbul Gelişim University with nearly 25 thousand national and international students, said, "We knew that there are many universities in Istanbul when we came from South African Republic, but Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) impressed us. The electrical car "Babayiğit" project produced by the university and the university's patent and accreditations are very exciting. It is a very nice to see and know them in the 4th industrial revolution".
Emphasizing that being imressed by the accreditation successes of th University, head department of the Sports and Arts Culture and Recruitment Department of Free State State Province of South African Republic Ramathe Stanley Malope said: "Our country needs a large number of health practitioners and engineers. IGU is among the universities that we consider for our students to gain international experience. We have no doubt on the knowledge and experience that our students will have gain here. This is big plus for our country".
Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdülkadir Gayretli expressed pride about the success that IGU has in the national and international arena and said: "We aim to increase the number of international students in 2018 - 2019 academic year. At the moment we are accepting students from 4 continent. We are conducting all our work so that our university to be in a position where it has a say in the world. With our new campus "Gelişim Tower" we will bring a different understanding of higher education this year".
