Abdülkadir Gayretli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Gelisim University, visited Deputy Minister of National Education Dr. Nazif Yılmaz

Abdülkadir Gayretli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), visited Dr. Nazif Yılmaz, Deputy Minister of National Education, in his office.

During the visit, the projects that can be done in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and the university were discussed.
 
COOPERATIONS WERE DISCUSSED

Abdulkadir Gayretli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Istanbul Gelisim University, who aims to advance the goal of becoming a world university with the successful ratings it received in the "Quality Education" category and the opportunities offers to his students both in the national and international, visited Dr. Nazif Yılmaz, Deputy Minister of National Education, in his office.
Abdülkadir Gayretli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IGU, informed Dr. Nazif Yılmaz, Deputy Minister of National Education, about the scientific and social studies of the university, its achievements on a global scale and the opportunities it offers to its students. During the visit, where new projects and collaborations were discussed, research and development activities were addressed as well. The opportunities offered by the university to entrepreneurs working in the fields of "basic science" and "engineering", such as İGUTEKMER (Entrepreneurship and Technology Center) and Scientific Research Projects Application and Research Center, and possible collaborations between the two institutions were reconsidered.

Abdulkadir Gayretli stated, " We appreciate our Deputy Minister Dr. Nazif Yılmaz's projects and works on the development of technological opportunities and innovation studies in schools. With this responsibility, we pursue our work in the national and international in order to develop more and more in the fields of technology and innovation to train the academicians and scientists of the future. We support the next generations in the light of innovation, research and development practices. We believe that they will achieve great success.”

Abdulkadir Gayretli also added the following: “We attach great importance to internationalization in order to ensure the recognition and awareness of research and application centers in the global area. As Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, Chairman of the Council of Higher Education indicated, internationalization is determined as a goal by all universities. Hence, we are moving forward with a vision that is suitable for the era, developing and producing by offering world-class education and training quality.”
