University Initiatives

We foster the development of future specialists through our robust support of research projects, guided by the principles of scientific advancement. Our various initiatives empower students to pursue their dreams, providing opportunities for academic, global, cultural, and professional growth.

• Advancing with the vision of becoming a "World University" and proudly holding the top position in Türkiye with 65 accredited programs, Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) provides exceptional education and practical opportunities.

• IGU also ranks first in Türkiye with 45 TQF-marked undergraduate programs, enhancing international education, internships, and employment opportunities for its students, thus fostering a global perspective. 

• Istanbul Gelisim University actively encourages undergraduate and associate degree students in Turkish programs to improve their foreign language skills. Students who achieve a score of at least 70 on the YDS or YÖKDİL exams at the end of their language courses will have their course fees reimbursed by IGU. 

• Additionally, the university covers round-trip flight tickets for students pursuing language education abroad.

• IGU fully supports student-led projects through the "I Have an Idea" program.

• The university also promotes entrepreneurial initiatives among its graduates by providing office furniture for those who establish their own businesses.
