Füsun Kaslak - the Fancy Füsun who started to stay in Darülaceze after her parents' death since 1999 is among Darülaceze's remarkable figures. Known as the oldest phenomena of Turkey who attracts attention with her cheerful attitude and well-maintained status, Füsun Kaslak also makes a mark with her accessories. Kaslak, who is in the same frame with a photo of a youth in a photography exhibition entitled ‘We owe every sycamore a generation debt’ organized by Istanbul Gelisim University students, said that she is now younger, well-groomed and vigorous.

“DARÜLACEZE REMADE MY IDENTITY”

Füsun The Fancy who lives in Darülaceze where she calls her home since 20 years, said that when she first came she was a bit hesitated and frustrated, but now she says that it was a right choice.

Füsun the Fancy added: “Some conditions brought me here, but now I'm saying that it's good. I'm very happy right now, if I was home I was nothing but this place gave me a very good name and remade my identity”.

“EVEN MY FAMILY COULD NOT MAKE ME GIVE UP”

Stating that she grow up under strict pressure by her family, Kaslak said: “They call me Fancy Füsun because I'm too fancy. I've been like this since I was young. Even my parents couldn't give me up. Our father was against make-up. He did the same pressure for my mother, but I said, "I'm not my mother." I started make-up at an early age, and I did what the adults did. No matter what people said, Füsun did as she wished. My father finally gave in and finally brought me a makeup set and said ’I lost, you won’. Nobody's gonna let me out of this wall. I find my self when I puff my hair”.

“DON’T MOVE YOUR FRUSTRATION TO THE NEXT DAY”

Füsun the Fancy, who explained her daily life with the videos she made via Youtube, told the formula of staying in the youth for a long time and concluded her words:

“If you're frustrated today, you can stay as frustrated as me without carrying the frustration the next day. You'il forget everything. Life cannot forget such a thing. I can't make it. I say ‘Füsun, enjoy the rest, pour spilled. You live life, it's so beautiful to live’”.

“STUDENTS MADE A YOUTH VACCINE TO ME”

When she saw the photographs in the exhibition prepared by the university students, she was surprised and said that she was happy and asked ‘Is that me?’ Fancy Füsun continued as follows:

“Everyone says I'm much more beautiful than my photo. I was very surprised when I saw his photo. I said, is this me? I don't like myself. Coming together with young people is the best of emotions. They've been given me vaccinations.”
