The theme of the exhibition, which was held under the supervision of the artist Mustafa Günay from Istanbul Gelişim University Vocational School Handicraft Department, was the theme of 'racism'.
Gökkuşağı College Bahçeşehir Campus High School Principal Bilal Ulucan, who expressed his happiness about the exhibition of international students coming from four continents and 20 different countries, said that the students put forth very good works to be exemplified against racism.

"12 STUNNING WORKS"

Lecturer Artist Mustafa Günay stated that they wanted to emphasize that art is a universal and unifying language with the exhibition 'The Common Language of Colors', and added: “All students merged on the same emotions in colors. They have signed works that appeal to them. While dividing international students into groups for painting, we paid attention to the fact that they were from different languages, different languages and races, and we left the joint decisions of the works to them. They have signed 12 great works against racism.”
 
“WE WILL CONTINUE TO WORK AGAINST RACISM”

Amna Al Shareefi, one of the international students of Gökkuşağı College Bahçeşehir Campus, stated that they would continue to work on the struggle against racism and discrimination as they stated that they had a strong stance against racism.

IGU Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdulkadir Gayretli stated that they gave all necessary support in the process from the planning of the project to the exhibition, and added: “Nearly 25 thousand national and international students continue their education in our university. We imagine a world in which many people live together in peace and do not accept discrimination. That is why the exhibition is very meaningful for us”.
