Faculty member of IGU won “the best paper” award

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shehzad Ashraf Chaudhry, faculty member of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Computer Engineering Department, won the 'best paper' award with his paper titled "Rapidauth: Fast Authentication for Sustainable IoT" presented in the conference titled 'Forthcoming Networks and Sustainability in the IoT Era' (FoNeS-IoT) in October.

Of the 40 applications made to the conference organized by EAI, a non-profit organization and professional community established in cooperation with the European Commission to strengthen global research and innovation and to promote cooperation between the European and International Information and Communication Technology (ICT) communities, only 37% were accepted.

European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) held the conference it planned to hold at Antalya Science University online due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
