Nuri Kılıç, a student of Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Sports Sciences, won the title of "World Champion" in the U21 Men's Kumite branch-60 kg at the World Cadet, Junior, U21 Karate Championship. IGU Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin hosted Nuri Kılıç in his office and presented the congratulatory document.
Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Sport Sciences, Exercise and Sport Sciences 2nd grade student Nuri Kılıç drew attention with his outstanding performance at the World Cadet, Junior, U21 Karate Championship held in Venice, Italy. Kılıç, who won the gold medal by defeating his opponent in the final competition, made both his university and his country proud of this significant achievement. After the championship, Nuri Kılıç was presented with a congratulatory certificate at the office of Istanbul Gelisim University Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin with the participation of Sports Sciences Faculty Dean Prof. Kubilay Çimen, and thus, he was included among the gold medal-winning athletes of IGU.
Having trained many successful champions in the past, IGU aims to enable young talents to achieve greater success in the international arena with its training and support in the field of sports science.
