Certificate of Appreciation to İstanbul Gelişim University at Women Engineers Day

The program themed "The Rise of Engineering Intelligence," organized by the Association of All Women Engineers (TÜMKAD) in Bursa in observance of June 23 World Women Engineers Day, hosted an important event aimed at making women's contributions in engineering visible.
Nur Betül Gayretli, IGU Board of Trustees Member and Gökkuşağı Schools Board of Directors Member, attended the program on behalf of İstanbul Gelişim University, one of the event's sponsors. As part of the program, the certificate of appreciation prepared for İstanbul Gelişim University's contributions to the event was presented to Nur Betül Gayretli by TÜMKAD Chair Ulfet Öztürk.

IGU Board of Trustees Member and Gökkuşağı Schools Board of Directors Member Nur Betül Gayretli, sharing her assessments as part of the program, noted that the achievements of women in engineering and technology are one of the most important elements of sustainable development.
Gayretli stated:

IGU's Engineering and Technology Vision Shared with Participants

Throughout the event, IGU's work in engineering, technology, and entrepreneurship was conveyed to participants under the coordination of the Public Relations and Promotion Department. The university's R&D activities, technology-focused projects, and innovative educational approach were introduced, while national and international achievements in engineering were also shared with participants.
Gökkuşağı Schools General Manager Mesut Döner also informed visitors about academic activities and the educational model, particularly with regard to the Cambridge education system.

IGU JetDrone Project Attracts Great Interest

One of the most noteworthy segments of the program was the TUSAŞ Award-Winning IGU JetDrone Project, conducted by İstanbul Gelişim University's Technology Transfer Office.
The IGU JetDrone prototype on display at the event was examined with great interest by participants, and information about the technology developed by the project team was shared. The technical demonstration conducted by operating the prototype's motors stood out as one of the important moments revealing the stage of development the project has reached.
