Students will hear from experts in the field of business life
The 10th Career Week, which aims to contribute to the career development of university students by Istanbul Gelişim University, will begin on April 15. In a week-long program, representatives of the private sector, experts and academics will meet with young people.
In order to contribute to the future of the youth, the 10th of the Career Week, which is organized by the Career Development Center (KAGEM) and Career Orientation Application and Research Center (KARYÖN) of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), will begin on April 15.
KAGEM Director Lect. Fırat Demirkol stating that they are going to come together with the participants who will shed light on the career of university students, added: “Nearly 40 important people from logistics, finance, media, cinema, engineering, fine arts, health, gastronomy, tourism, food, retail and public sectors will meet with young people, give important information about business life and share their experiences. In the event which will also be full of fun activities, we will organize many sessions where students will have the opportunity to work and make an internship”.

Emphasizing that they attach importance for students, graduates and employees care for self-awareness and development, Abdulkadir Gayretli - the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Gelişim University, said: “We support all of them to be individuals with high self-awareness, goals, and active participation in projects that create added value in the corporate and social development process”. Stating that they believe in the continuity of learning Gayretli added: “We're always trying to improve ourselves and to demonstrate results in the highest quality standards”.
