The short film "Good", directed by Kayra Ocal, a student of Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Radio, Television and Cinema Department, won the 3rd prize at the "Black Cat Award International Film Festival", which was held for the second time this year.
The short film 'Good' directed by Kayra Ocal was awarded the third prize among the thirty projects that made it to the finals at the ‘’Black Cat Award International Film Festival’’, which was held for the second time this year with the"Art for humanity, children and cinema" slogan.
IT WAS AWARDED IN THE “BEST DOCUMENTARY” CATEGORY
The film, which was awarded the 3rd prize in the best documentary category at the festival, which has many categories such as the best film, the best short film, the best documentary, the best animation, the best music video, and the best trailer, focuses on the depersonalization of the individual with a critical and allegorical language. Kayra Öcal was the director and editor of the film, which was selected at the "Lift-off Filmmaker Sessions", "First-Time Filmmaker Sessions" and "Scout Film Festival Emerging Filmmakers Grant" film festivals. Ugur Koldancı played the lead role, Cagrı Kurt, Batuhan Colak and Elif Hatipoglu were the supporting actors, Deniz Can Güzel was the sound technician and Aysegul Konuk was the gaffer.
