A Meaningful Visit from Uzbekistan to Istanbul Gelisim University

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) hosted an important meeting aimed at strengthening international academic collaborations. IGU Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdulkadir Gayretli, Vice Rector Prof. Necmettin Maraşlı, Secretary-General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Egeli, Head of Public Relations and Promotion Department Asst. Prof. Bülent Deyirmenci, Director of the International Student Office Umedjon Haitmurodov, and Deputy Director of the International Student Office Alkan Kotro welcomed education representatives from Uzbekistan.

Uzbek Education Representatives at IGU

Among the visitors were Azizbek Ismailov, Founding Rector of Alfraganus University; Ruzieva Dilnoz, Founding Rector of Bukhara Innovation University; Dilfuza Rahmonova, Founding Rector of Axborot Technologies and Management University; Nishanov Rustam, Founder of Topex Schools; and Elyor Yuldashev, Founder of Namangan International School. The parties discussed opportunities for collaboration in higher education and held meetings that could pave the way for joint projects.

The Visit Concluded With a Campus Tour

Following the meeting, the delegation toured Istanbul Gelisim University’s campus, particularly the Faculty of Dentistry. During the tour, information was provided about the university’s academic infrastructure, laboratories, and educational facilities.
