Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability, and Entrepreneurship Come Together at Istanbul Gelisim University
Istanbul Gelisim University continues its academic and industry-oriented events aimed at preparing students for the transforming business world of the future. As part of this effort, the seminar titled “Sustainability: Young Entrepreneurship in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, organized by the Economics and Finance Department of FEASS and the Economics and Finance Student Club, was held to strong student attendance. At the event held in the K Block Firnas Auditorium, the development of AI, its impact on the entrepreneurship ecosystem, sustainable business models, and the working domains of the future were examined.

The seminar was moderated by IGU Economics and Finance Department faculty member Assoc. Prof. İsmail Cem Ay. The event’s speakers were Sigortambir Founder Kürşat Köz, TOBB İGGK Sustainability and Environment Group Executive Board Member İbrahim Emirhan Bora, and İSO-TOBB İGGK Sustainability and Environment Group Chair Bengü Türk Sezer.
The speakers drew attention to the transformation process AI is creating in the business world and assessed the new areas of opportunity emerging particularly for young entrepreneurs. Comprehensive insights were shared on the future of technology-driven ventures, innovative projects developed in line with sustainable development goals, and shifting industry dynamics.
