Children with Down syndrome took a tour with vehicles

For Down Syndrome Awareness Day, vosvos trip was organized for the children with Down syndrome with the theme of Non-Chromosome Counting Friends.

Children with down syndrome took a tour with 30 vosvos cars decorated with balloons and pictures in the event organized within the scope of the, “We Live Together With Our Differences, Overcoming Barriers Together” project conducted by Istanbul Directorate of National Education within the scope of the 2023 Education Vision, with the cooperation of Borusan Oto Zehra Nurhan Kocabıyık Secondary School, Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), and Wolkswagen Turtle Automobile Association.

In the event organized by IGU Photography and Cameramanship Program Lect. Murat Çil and Special Education Specialist Nursel Tunç children with Down Syndrome made a tour for one hour. After coming back to the school’s garden children released 200 baloonsto the sky. To raise awareness of Down syndrome in the event where brochures prepared by Provincial Directorate of National Education are distributed, for students attending special education in Avcılar IGU Photography and Videography Program student and Voice Turkey song contest winner Emre Sertkaya gave a concert.
