Consul General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul met with Turkmen students

Myratgeldi Seyitmammedov, Consul General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul, visited Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) and met with students from Turkmenistan studying at the university.

Meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IGU Abdulkadir Gayretli and Rector Prof. Dr. Burhan Aykaç within the scope of the visit Consul General Seyitmammedov talked about the support of their president to Turkmen youth in their sudy abroad for them to be patriotic, hardworking, with keen aim, successful in their moral and innovative works with their own efforts, and their ability and mind to contribute to the development of independent homeland’.

Stating that he was pleased with the education of Turkmenistan nationals at IGU, Seyitmammedov said: “We would like to thank to our esteemed IGU family for showing the necessary attention to our students. Our students' education here will play an important role in shaping their future”.

Rector Prof. Dr. Burhan Aykaç, stated that a large number of students from Turkmenistan study at Istanbul Gelisim University, indicated that the Turkmen students continue their education without any problem.

At the end of the visit, gifts were presented in the memory of the day.
