Double award at 5th Esenler Film Festival to IGU academician Kerem Yükseloğlu!

Lecturer from Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, Kerem Yükseloğlu's short film project Tonight is Different from the Others, achieved great success at the 5th Esenler Film Festival. The project won the “Short Film Production Award” and the “Flod Color Award”.

 
Tonight is Different from the Others, which is among the finalist projects, was presented to the jury within the scope of the festival. The jury included script doctor and academician Öktem Başol, TRT Cinema Festival Coordinator Esra Demirkıran and producer-director Mehmet Bahadır Er. As a result of the evaluation of the jury, Yükseloğlu's project stood out with its originality and cinematographic approach and was deemed worthy of two prestigious awards.
 
While this success made both Istanbul Gelisim University and the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema proud, it also underlined the importance given to promising projects in the short film world. Kerem Yükseloğlu, who draws attention with his project Tonight is Different from Others, continues to take significant steps in the field of short films.
