Halil Durna U23 and Elite Seniors Muaythai Türkiye Championship organized by the Turkish Muaythai Federation was held between 11-16 April 2025 at Antalya Gymnasium. Kübra Kocakuş, an athlete of Istanbul Gelisim University Sports Club, won the title of Turkish Champion with her impressive performance in the Elite Women's A Class 60 kg category by adding a new one to the Muaythai achievements, also known as Thai Boxing, which is a fighting sport, in the championship attended by many athletes from all over Türkiye.

The national athlete, who made statements after the championship, said, "I became the champion of Türkiye at the Turkish Muaythai Championship held in Antalya this year. My goal is to win the title of world champion again at the World Championship, which will be held from 22-31 May. Then, as the champion in the World Games in China and the Islamic Games to be held in Riyadh, where I have the right to participate with a special quota, I want to represent our country and our university in the best way.
