IGU Participated in the Turkish University Sports Federation Coordination Meeting

The Coordination Meeting of the Turkish University Sports Federation, held in Antalya, brought together key stakeholders who support the development of university sports. Istanbul Gelisim University was represented at the meeting by Prof. Ali Kızılet, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, and Kaan Oğulcan Hanbaba, Sports Coordinator of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports.

Effective Collaboration in New Term Activity Plans

During the meeting, topics such as expanding the reach of university sports, improving organizational processes, and strengthening activity plans for the new term were discussed in detail. Prof. Ali Kızılet, Dean of IGU Faculty of Sports Sciences, and Kaan Oğulcan Hanbaba, Sports Coordinator of IGU HCSDB, made active contributions both to the evaluation of the current operations and to the development of future-oriented proposals.

The discussions, held to ensure that new-term sports organizations adopt a more efficient, participatory, and sustainable structure, once again emphasized the importance of inter-university collaboration. By taking part in platforms that support the development of sports, Istanbul Gelisim University once again demonstrated its commitment to enhancing students’ athletic competencies and strengthening the university sports culture.
