Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Technology Transfer Office (TTO) hosted a meaningful event on December 24, 2024, offering students and teachers of Şehit Melih Sancar Secondary School the opportunity to experience science and technology. A total of 26 students and 2 teachers participated in the program held in the Tower Campus.
The event was organized in order for students to get to know university life, discover the culture of innovation and inspire their goals for the future. The Drone Application Training given by Lect. Ahmet Bikiç provided students with both theoretical and practical information. Thanks to this training, students had the opportunity to get to know drone systems, one of the most significant technologies of the future.
In another stage of the activity, students had the opportunity to ask questions by examining innovative projects in IGU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) laboratories accompanied by guidance teachers. The university's R&D-oriented projects aimed to instill the importance of innovation in young minds and encourage scientific thinking.
IGU TTO officials stated that such organizations are of great value in terms of making young people love science and introducing technology. The university emphasized that it will continue to attach importance to social responsibility projects with the vision of raising future leaders.
