Istanbul Gelisim University will host the 9th International Middle East Symposium on October 15-16, 2024. The event has been granted support by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK).
Understanding the political, economic, and social conflicts in the Middle East requires a thorough analysis of the region’s diverse political regimes, economic systems, and cultural dynamics. In line with this, the symposium aims to offer a comprehensive examination of pressing international issues such as occupation, civil war, terrorism, and illegal migration affecting the Middle East today.
The symposium is being organized by Istanbul Gelisim University's Political and Social Sciences Application and Research Center (İGÜSAM), in collaboration with the Al Mokha Center for Strategic Studies, the Middle East, Eurasia, and Asia-Pacific Research Center (ODAP), and UMAM. The event will bring together scholars and expert researchers from various countries to engage in scientific discussions from a wide range of perspectives.
