As part of events that support the university's applied education approach and contribute to students' direct experience of current industry dynamics, Doğan Group Family Companies Board of Directors Chair M. Erol Çamur met with students at the "Leadership Meetings" event organized by İstanbul Gelişim University's Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences. Held in the Ötüken Conference Hall, the event examined important topics of our time including leadership, the changing business world, technological transformation, continuous development, and financial literacy. The program, which attracted strong student interest, drew attention as an example of the strong bond between academia and industry.

Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences (FEASS) Dean Prof. Dr. Kenan Aydın, who delivered the opening remarks, drew attention to the rapidly accelerating pace of technological transformation and stated that universities also need to raise individuals who can adapt to this change.Prof. Dr. Kenan Aydın noted that İstanbul Gelişim University equips its students not only with academic knowledge but also with industry experience, a leadership perspective, and competencies for adapting to current technologies, and offered the following assessment:

A Message of Continuous Development from M. Erol Çamur to Students
Doğan Group Family Companies Board of Directors Chair M. Erol Çamur, sharing his experiences with students as part of the Leadership Meetings, drew attention to the changing world order and technological transformation in his address. Emphasizing that individuals today need to constantly update themselves, Çamur noted that artificial intelligence, digitalization, and new-generation business models in particular are creating an important transformation in professional life.Noting that a culture of continuous learning lies at the foundation of achieving success, Çamur stated that educational systems also need to be reshaped in accordance with the requirements of the age. Advising students to remain open to development, Çamur stated:
“The world is now changing very rapidly. As technology develops, ways of doing business are also transforming. For this reason, individuals need to constantly update themselves. The moment you stop learning, you fall behind. It is of great importance that educational systems are also updated to adapt to developing technology.”
The Importance of Financial Literacy Emphasized
Also addressing the topic of financial literacy in his remarks, M. Erol Çamur noted that young people need not only academic success but also economic awareness. Noting that financial management, budget planning, and economic consciousness hold an important place in individual career development, Çamur stated that developing themselves in this area will provide young people with a major advantage in the future.Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to direct questions about the business world, while also gaining important insights on leadership, career planning, and personal development.
