Turkpatent ISIF24 International Invention Fair, which was held for the 9th time within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2024 Adana, was opened with the participation of Mehmet Fatih Kacir, Minister of Industry and Technology.
For the ninth time, the International Invention Fair (ISIF) is getting ready to greet the brightest brains on the planet. In the eight years that it has been held, ISIF—Turkey's first and only international invention fair—has welcomed over 5,000 technologies from 62 different countries. Its goals are to bring together national and international participants with innovation, R&D, and innovation projects that will add value to Turkiye's development, as well as to commercialize the technical knowledge produced and present it for the benefit of society.
Adana Sakirpasa Airport will host TEKNOFEST, a technology-focused event that welcomes participants from a variety of fields, including software and the defense industry, from October 2–6. Numerous ideas, ranging from aviation to agricultural technologies, are on display at the show, which attracts a large number of domestic and international participants.
While Istanbul Gelisim University Technology Transfer Office (TTO) exhibits 16 inventions in the field, it continues to inform interested visitors about the inventions and IGU. IGU, which is the university with the highest number of patent applications in Turkiye in 2023, continues to support registration and intellectual property rights.
IGU, which is entitled to participate in the Demo Day event that is organized within the scope of ISIF’24 and brings together the inventions with investors with 2 projects, will make presentations to domestic and foreign investors with its inventions named "UAV with Electric Fan Motor that can land vertically and take off" and "Algorithm with Artificial Intelligence Supported 3D Maps Created and Analyzed".
