National athletes visited Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin in his office

National athletes, coached by National Referee Seydi Battal Gazi Özçınar, who continues his education at IGU Physiotherapy Program, visited Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin in his office with the medals they won at the IFK Kyokushin Eastern European Championship.

Fatma Coşkun, one of the national athletes who participated in the IFK Kyokushin Eastern European Championship held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, on December 2, 2023, came 2nd in Europe in the 55 kg category in the senior women's category. Selnur Ağaya came 2nd in Europe in the 60 kg category in U11. Mehmet Tarık Ergin came 3rd in Europe in the 40 kg category in U11.

On December 13, 2023, Physiotherapy Program Head Lect. Tuğçe Bilgiç, the winning athletes, their coaches Seydi Battal Gazi Özçınar and parents visited IGU Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin in his office. At the ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin gave the winning athletes gifts that evoke sports in the light of knowledge and science.
