Research Assistant Eda Türkay's film is among the Ten Best Short Films of the Year!

The short film Aç Açına (Home Cooking), produced by Eda Türkay, research assistant at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, was ranked among the ten best short films of the year by the Turkish Film Critics Association (SİYAD).

While the short film Aç Açına (Home Cooking), produced by Eda Türkay, research assistant of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, was evaluated within the scope of the 57. Turkish Cinema Awards, it attracted great attention in the 2024 festival season and took part in many festivals. Aç Açına (Home Cooking), directed by Ahmet Toğaç, attracted attention with its impressive narrative, original cinematography and social sensitivity.
 


The Turkish Cinema Awards, which is organized by SİYAD and is one of the most prestigious events in the Turkish cinema industry, awards the most successful productions in the field of cinema every year. At the ceremony to be held in March, the best films of 2024 will be announced.
