Sustainable Quality Certified: IGU Renews TS-ISO 10002 Management System Certificate

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) successfully completed the audit process conducted by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) between July 28–30, 2025, and earned the renewal of its ISO 10002 Student and Stakeholder Satisfaction Management System Certificate. Lecturer Enes Kalyoncu, Vice Dean of the IGU Student Dean’s Office, emphasized that this development reflects the university’s transparent, systematic, and continuously improving approach to satisfaction management.

The TS ISO 10002 standard aims to help institutions enhance service quality by effectively handling suggestions, complaints, and feedback. Highlighting that IGU has successfully implemented this standard for a long time, Lecturer Kalyoncu stated, “This certificate is not only an indicator of quality; it is also a tangible reflection of the importance we place on student and stakeholder satisfaction. Every piece of feedback is an opportunity for improvement for us. Continuity and transparency in quality management are among our core principles. This is how we maintain a strong trust bond with our students and all stakeholders.”

Feedback Mechanisms Support Institutional Development

At Istanbul Gelisim University, satisfaction-oriented processes are managed through IGUMER (Communication Center) and COZUMER (Solution Center) under the Student Dean’s Office. Regarding the operation of these two centers, Lecturer Kalyoncu shared the following:
“IGUMER and COZUMER systematically collect not only complaints but also suggestions, appreciations, and general feedback, and direct them to the relevant departments. In this way, our students' voices are directly reflected in the decision-making processes. Our feedback mechanism is not only aimed at solving problems but also at enhancing our institutional culture.”
Kalyoncu emphasized that this system plays an active role in the university’s strategic decision-making processes and stated that a data-driven approach supports institutional development.

“The renewal of the TS ISO 10002 certificate once again documents Istanbul Gelisim University’s student-centered management approach and its commitment to service quality,” said Lect.
