Speaking about the training of 18 chefs who are experts in their fields that will be giving professional cookery training the coordinator of Coordinator of the Istanbul Gelisim Academy of Culinary Sciences and Executive Sous Chef Tolgahan Tabak stated: “Cookery is a valid and important profession today. People have the opportunity to set up and run their own business and have the chance to practice their profession all over the world. We appeal to people of all ages, from every profession and education group. We prepared a unique training plan with IGU Culinary Sciences Academy and 18 chefs in the field”.

Istanbul Gelişim University Continuing Education Center Director Asst. Prof. Fatih Fuat Tuncer indicating that the interest in eating has increased in recent years said: “We have a very deep culinary culture. Cookery has become a respected profession. There is an intense demand for gastronomy and cookery departments and programs in universities and young people are aware of this changing perception. As SEM (Continuing Education Center), we will provide training in many fields from the preparation of local and international flavors to the presentation with the professional cookery program that we open to people from all ages and education groups”.

Among the award-winning chefs who will be teaching at the Culinary Sciences Academy planned by Istanbul Gelişim University Continuing Education Center are Aşkın Siyamoğlu, Emrah Altundağ, Erkan Kıyıcıoğlu, Feyzullah Aksoy, İ. Levent Demirçakmak, İsmail Geyik, Kemal Can Yurttaş, Meryem Merve Beykoz, Özgür Üstün, Şenol Türkoğlu, Tayfun Karayel, Tolgahan Tabak, Tuncay Çetin, Yusuf Can Demirses, Yusuf Kızılırmak, Yüksel Güllü, Ziya Çıkrıkçı.
