“Career Center Peer Mentoring Training Certificate Program” was organized by IGU Career Development Center between 5-16 September. Managers of significant non-governmental organizations such as “The Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV)” and “Community Volunteers Foundation” participated in the trainings.
“Career Center Peer Mentoring Training Certificate Program” was held between 5-16 September within the scope of the Peer Mentoring Program created by Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Career Development Center and Alumni-Members Coordinatorship. At the end of the program, in which trainings were given in many fields such as Interview Techniques, Sustainability, Social Media Management, Psychological Resilience and Teamwork, certificates were presented to the participants.
PEER MENTOR STUDENTS MEET WITH EXPERTS
In the Peer Mentor Program created by the IGU Career Development Center and the Alumni-Members Coordinatorship, students with strong communication skills and who are prone to teamwork come together and take an active role in career center studies, producing and producing and implementing projects. In this context, students get the opportunity to meet with mentors in special trainings and organizations and develop their competencies and skills in line with the expectations of business life. Peer Mentor students, selected through interviews among 30 thousand students, had the opportunity to get trainings where they could improve their competencies by meeting with experts between 5-16 September.
MANAGERS OF PROMINENT NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDED TRAINING
Many significant names took place among the participants of the “Career Center Peer Mentoring Training Certificate Program” held between 5-16 September. On the 2nd day of the program, while Kanal D newscaster Deniz Bayramoglu gave "Effective Communication and Body Language Techniques Training", within the scope of the Non-Governmental Organizations Day, prominent names of non-governmental organizations such as Didem Duru, Chairman of the Community Volunteers Foundation, Aykut Taka, the Director of the Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey, İbrahim Betil, the Founder of the ‘’Sen De Gel’’ Association, Alev Akın, the Board Member of the Turkish Women Entrepreneurs Association, and Abdullah Kayadibi, the Green Crescent Education Specialist provided training. After the training, Didem Duru, Chairman of the Community Volunteers Foundation, visited Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Sahin in his office.
