Academic cooperation protocol signed between IGU and Uzbekistan Renaissance University of Education

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) continues its international collaborations with the aim of strengthening its academic ties with the Turkish world. In this regard, an important academic cooperation protocol was signed between IGU Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin and Uzbekistan Renaissance University of Education Rector Prof. Nusratilla Barakayev.

IGU Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin hosted Uzbekistan Renaissance University of Education Rector Prof. Barakayev and Vice Rector Qulmat Shakarov, in his office. IGU Vice Rectors Prof.  Nuri Kuruoğlu, Prof. Necmettin Maraşlı and Prof.  Arda Öztürkcan, Alisa Usubova from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Specialist Pınar Aleyna Doğan, Assistant Specialist Mehmet Emir Çetinberk and International Students Office Vice Director Alkan Kotro were also at the meeting.
 
During the visit, introductory videos of both universities were watched and mutual information was shared about academic units, research centers, student exchange programs and campus opportunities.
 
Uzbekistan's preference for cooperation with Turkic states

In recent years, Uzbekistan has prioritized strengthening its relations with the Turkic world in both economic and academic fields. In this direction, academic collaborations with Turkish universities aim to increase Uzbekistan's education and science capacity in the international arena.
 
Prof.  Barakayev stated that the protocol signed with IGU will increase the sharing of knowledge and experience among Turkish states. This cooperation between the two universities is aimed to produce concrete results such as developing joint projects, supporting academic exchange programs and strengthening cooperation in scientific studies.


 
Education ties are getting stronger in the Turkish world!

Istanbul Gelisim University continues its mission to improve the quality of education in the international arena and to host students from all over the world. Such collaborations play a critical role in deepening both academic and cultural ties.
 
This protocol is considered as a step that will open the doors of wider academic integration not only between the two universities, but also throughout the Turkic world.
