IGU Hosts MARSİFED and TÜMKAD Representatives

Representatives of the Marmara and Central Anatolia Industry and Business World Federation (MARSİFED) and the Association of All Women Engineers (TÜMKAD) came together with university management at a meeting held at Istanbul Gelisim University. The meeting was attended by Istanbul Gelisim University Board of Trustees Member Betül Gayretli, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Arda Öztürkcan, TÜMKAD Board of Directors Chair Ülfet Öztürk, Board Vice Chair Elif Kuş, MARSİFED Board of Directors Secretary General Özge Özen, and Gökkuşağı Kolejleri General Manager Mesut Döner. The meeting addressed potential areas of collaboration between the university and the relevant institutions, particularly in engineering fields. Ideas were exchanged on more effectively aligning educational processes with the needs of the industry.

Letter of Intent Signed

As part of the meeting, a letter of intent was signed between the parties to establish a framework for the joint initiatives planned for implementation in the period ahead. The agreement is intended to strengthen cooperation between the university and industry representatives and lay the groundwork for new projects.
