An artificial intelligence project that gives human impression has been developed at IGU!

Today, many of us get help from the internet, known as the communication network, which is one of the effective solutions to access information. Lect. Bilge Turp Gölbaşı said, "Although there are multiple answers to access information on the internet, we can reach what we are looking for from different websites and with answers in text form."

Under the supervision of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Applied Sciences, Department of Management Information Systems Lect. Bilge Turp Gölbaşı, an artificial intelligence project was developed by IGU students Burak Tekin, Oğuzhan Bulut and Merve Oner. Asst. Prof. Dr. Bilge Turp Gölbaşı, "Although it is possible to voice the answers of the applications or sites we found as long as the site or application supports it, there are different types of solutions with interactive and visual animation. In order to serve this purpose, we have developed an interactive artificial intelligence solution with a visualized interface with our university students."

Explaining how the project development process is progressing, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bilge Turp Gölbaşı added: "The interactive artificial intelligence (AI) simulation, which is planned as a student project at Istanbul Gelişim University, aims to provide the most logical and correct answers to the questions asked by users with software language integration. By adding voice command detection feature to the simulation, we enabled users to present the correct answers aloud. The simulation responds with a human voice to understand the needs and give the most appropriate solutions to these needs. Thanks to artificial intelligence algorithms, the system generates the most appropriate response and transmits it to the user through the speaker, who gives the impression of a vivid person audibly and visually. ”

Stating that the process is prolonged because the users of the search engines used in daily life have to search for answers between multiple pages, Bilge Turp Gölbaşı continued her words as follows:  "This simulation saves time for the user with its voice question and voice answer feature. In this way, while increasing user satisfaction, it contributes to the potential of technology to make human life easier. Thus, users can communicate verbally and interactively."
