Istanbul Gelisim University, Public Relations Department students held a workshop within the scope of 'Public Relations Students Awareness Project about their profession'. At the project research phase, the results of the questionnaire which was given to the students on a group of 100 students were shared with the participants.

The research was conducted by Istanbul Gelisim University School of Applied Sciences PR and Advertising Department director Asst. Prof. Emel Tozlu Öztay, Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School Marketing and Advertising Department Director Asst. Prof. Fulya Beteş, Lect. Atilla Akalın and Students Tolgahan Polat, Bahar Yalçın, Sümeyra Aydın, Özgür Demirci, Sultan Kaya, Betül Sırma, İlknur Şen, Selin Aldemir, Sadık Kalender, Tuğçe Şeran, Hüseyin Karaca, Doğukan Şahin, and Fatih Muhammet Albayrak.

According to the results of the study, only 1 percent of the participants know what public relations are, 17 percent participated in a public relations workshop held previously, 10 percent did not find enough of the public relations studies in our country.

Scheduled workshop based on survey data was related to the occupation where the first leg of Brothers & Sisters Agency Partner, and Istanbul Surgery Hospital Creative Consultant Gülnur Göksel heavenly and Netmarble Turkey PR & Corporate Communications Manager Dilek Aydoğdu were hosted. The guests coming from the sector explained their public relations, advertising and promotional campaigns to their students and explained the differences in the internal units and agencies of the profession on the actual applied studies.

In the second leg, a workshop was organized with high school students at Yenibosna Anatolian High School, Public Relations and Organization Services Department. Istanbul Gelisim University, Public Relations and Social Responsibility Club students under the leadership of Lect. Fulya Beteş held the workshop with high school students studying public relations and explaining the topic of being a public relations student at the university.
 
Gülnur Göksel and Dilek Aydoğdu, the guests of the workshop, expressed that they were extremely happy to share their experiences with the students as the guests of Istanbul Gelisim University. They congratulated the students for having carried out beautiful application projects, although they were still in their school years. Salim Çeliktaş, Director of Yenibosna Anatolian High School expressed his gratitude for the information and support they gave to the students and expressed that he would always be happy to host new educational projects to be developed between high schools and Istanbul Gelisim University in the future.
