Blood donations under the “To Save a Life is Amazing, Come and Join” event were made

Istanbul Gelisim University, Department of Health, Culture and Sports, Kızılay Club, organized a training "To Save a Life is Amazing, Come and Join". After the training, the participants donated blood.

Speaking about the importance of the event where students were informed about blood donations, procedure before and after the blood donation the Chairman of the Kızılay Club İlknur Özer said: “We're holding blood donation for 2 weeks. It was an event where we informed all participants about the importance of the donation. We emphasized that blood is not an urgent need, but a constant need”.

Voicing that organizing since 6 years together with Istanbul Gelisim University regular blood donation events Kızılay Universities Officer Fatih Ilhan said: “IGU's support is increasing day by day. Especially for the last 3 years, the most blood donation among the universities in Istanbul was made by IGU. We were able to reach thousands of people thanks to the sensitivity of Istanbul Gelişim University and the work of Kızılay”

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IGU, Abdulkadir Gayretli stating that Istanbul Gelişim University was the most blood donating university in the past year, added: “We aim to continue this success as a socially responsible university with social issues”.
