Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and Istanbul Gelisim University signed a cooperation protocol. Within the scope of the protocol, the aim is to increase of the students’ professional experiences, and to improve their theoretical information through practice.
A cooperation protocol was signed between İŞKUR and Istanbul Gelisim University in order to provide information to the students from İŞKUR Job and Vocational Counselors on issues such as labor market, corporate activities, job search skills, interview with employer, interview techniques and writing curriculum vitae. Vice Directors of Provincial Directorate of Labor and Employment Institutions in Istanbul Serkan Özmen and Günay Bölükoğlu and the committee, Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Rector Prof. Dr. Burhan Aykaç and IGU Director of Career Development Center (KAGEM) Fırat Demirkol attended the signature ceremony at the Rectorate of Istanbul Gelisim University.
At the İŞKUR Contact Point to be established within the university, the aim is to help students to benefit from active labor services such as On-the-Job Training Program and Entrepreneurship Training Program aiming to increase their professional experience, develop their theoretical knowledge through practice, and establish and develop their own businesses.
