TEKNOFEST 2025, one of the world’s largest festivals in the fields of aviation, space, and technology, once again brought together universities, industry representatives, and technology enthusiasts under one roof. As part of the festival, Düzce University Rector Prof. Nedim Sözbir visited the Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) booth and met with IGU Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin.

Close Interest in IGU Projects

Düzce University Rector Prof. Nedim Sözbir examined in detail the projects prepared under the leadership of the IGU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and developed by students. The IGU booth featured innovative projects in various fields, ranging from agricultural technologies to unmanned aerial vehicles.

Academic Solidarity Between Universities

This meeting, which took place as part of TEKNOFEST 2025, contributed not only to academic solidarity between universities but also to the recognition of student-developed projects by representatives of other institutions. The gathering of the two rectors was seen as a significant step in strengthening Türkiye’s scientific production ecosystem.
