Internship Mobility agreement signed with Michelin-starred “Restaurant Sedem”

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) International Change and Cooperation Coordination Unit (UDİO-K) added Vocational College of Hospitality and Tourism Maribor to its "Internship Mobility". In this way, students of IGU Gastronomy and Culinary Arts will be able to do internships at the Michelin-starred "Restaurant Sedem".

By Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) International Change and Cooperation Coordination Unit (UDİO-K), in addition to the "Study Mobility" agreements, efforts were begun on reaching an agreement within the scope of "Internship Mobility" in December last year. Within the scope of these efforts, an important internship agreement was made for IGU Gastronomy and Culinary Arts students in their benefit. Thanks to the internship agreement, IGU students will have the opportunity to perform their Erasmus+ Internship Mobility at the "Restaurant Sedem", which has a Michelin star and is highly respected in the international arena.

It will contribute both academically and socially

Istanbul Gelisim University continues to train the leading chefs of the future with its applied trainings on Turkish and world cuisine and its studies in the field of sustainability. Thanks to the "Internship Mobility" and "Study Mobility" programs provided by IGU International Change and Cooperation Coordination Unit (UDİO-K), IGU students have the opportunity to gain experience in the international arena each year.
An “Internship Mobility” agreement was signed with Vocational College of Hospitality and Tourism Maribor, which has been actively exchanging students and staff since 2021. Within the scope of the agreement with the Vocational College of Hospitality and Tourism Maribor, Istanbul Gelisim University students can do their internships in Restaurant Sedem, which is affiliated with the university and has a Michelin Star. Within the scope of "Internship Mobility", which will contribute both academically and socially, two students will be able to do internships at Restaurant Sedem each year.
