Istanbul Gelisim University and Açı Education Institutions Unite Around a Shared Vision for the Future

The founders and senior administrators of Açı Education Institutions and Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) came together at the “Açı Education Institutions Founding Principals Meeting” with the aim of establishing a strategic partnership. The meeting was attended by Abdülkadir Gayretli, Chair of the IGU Board of Trustees; IGU Public Relations representatives from Istanbul and the region; Mustafa Aydemir, Chair of the Board of Directors of Açı Education Institutions; and founding principals of Açı schools from across Türkiye.

Institutional Cooperation and Academic Planning for the 2026 Academic Year Highlighted Under a Shared Vision

The main focus of the meeting was to further strengthen the collaboration between Açı Education Institutions and Istanbul Gelisim University; to provide detailed information about the University's educational opportunities, academic structure, and student-centered advantages; and to plan promotional and guidance strategies for the 2026 academic year. In this context, IGU’s scholarship opportunities, support mechanisms, and accredited academic programs were discussed in detail.

In his remarks, Abdülkadir Gayretli, Chair of the IGU Board of Trustees, stated:

Gayretli also shared key insights on IGU’s achievements:

Another major topic of the meeting was exploring ways to make the collaboration between IGU and Açı Education Institutions more efficient and sustainable. Participants exchanged ideas on university-high school cooperation models, promotional activities, and student guidance processes. Both parties conducted a detailed evaluation of potential contributions and plans for the 2026 academic year.
