Istanbul Gelisim University Crowns Success: Monthly Scholarship Opportunities for Top Graduates

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) continues to reward students who achieve high scores and rankings in the 2025 YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam). The university has announced comprehensive scho-larship programs for both high school valedictorians and students who achieve top ranks in the national exam. According to the university's announcement, students graduating from high school in 2025 and who choose Istanbul Gelisim University among their top five preferences will be eligible for monthly scho-larships up to 7,500 TRY, depending on the faculty they are placed in. Additionally, students who achie-ve top rankings in the national YKS exam will have the opportunity to receive monthly scholarships up to 25,000 TRY based on their national ranking. These scholarship programs aim to reward academic excel-lence and support high-achieving students.

Exclusive Preference Support for Valedictorians

A special scholarship program has been introduced for students graduating in 2025 as the top of their high school class. Valedictorians who place Istanbul Gelisim University among their top five choices and are accepted into fully funded programs within the following faculties will benefit from monthly scholarships:

Faculty of Engineering and Architecture: 7,500 TRY/month
Faculty of Dentistry: 5,000 TRY/month
Faculty of Health Sciences: 5,000 TRY/month
Faculty of Applied Sciences: 5,000 TRY/month
Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences: 5,000 TRY/month
Faculty of Fine Arts: 5,000 TRY/month

IGU Preference and Information Days Welcome Prospective Students

Istanbul Gelisim University offers a comprehensive preference and information program to help prospective students navigate the university selection process effectively. Students who visit the campus and make in-person preferences during the preference period can benefit from an additional 10% On-Campus Preference Scholarship on top of the top 5 preference scholarships. Detailed information about tuition fees and scholarship opportunities is provided to students face-to-face during these days.
The IGU Preference and Information Days will continue to welcome prospective students on campus until August 11.

Expert Guidance from Advisors and Academics

Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with preference advisors and faculty members at designated information areas on campus. Personalized roadmaps will be created based on each student’s score, interests, and career goals. During this process, IGU’s digital "Preference Robot" will also offer additional support to students.
