KOSGEB and TEKMER Came Together on the Entrepreneurship Agenda

Small and Medium Industry Development Organization of Türkiye (KOSGEB) İkitelli Director Duygu Yücesoy Manyaslı and KOSGEB Process Consultant Nedim Kara visited Istanbul Gelisim University Technology Center (TEKMER). During the visit, the work carried out by TEKMER and its contributions to the entrepreneurship ecosystem were discussed. As part of the visit, information was provided on TEKMER's R&D and project development processes, while the delegation also paid a courtesy visit to Istanbul Gelisim University Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin at his office. The meeting evaluated potential collaborative initiatives in university-industry cooperation and entrepreneurship.

"From Idea to Value: Entrepreneurship and Innovation" Seminar Held

As part of the visit program, a seminar titled "From Idea to Value: Entrepreneurship and Innovation" was held in collaboration between Istanbul Gelisim University's Research Center for Next-Generation Entrepreneurship and Innovation and TEKMER.
At the seminar, TEKMER Director Hande Ceylan Dayan provided information on the R&D project development processes conducted within TEKMER and the exemptions and exceptions offered, while KOSGEB İkitelli Director Duygu Yücesoy Manyaslı outlined KOSGEB's support calls in the field of entrepreneurship and application processes. FoodHack Istanbul Representative Dr. Elif Güngör Reis shared with participants the scope and application details of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK)- 1812 call from an entrepreneurship and innovation perspective.
The program addressed the commercialization processes of projects in the idea stage, public support mechanisms, and the opportunities offered by the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The visit and seminar program was considered an important step in strengthening cooperation between the university and public and industry stakeholders.
