THK (TAA) signs cooperation protocol with universities

The Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK) has started collaborations to reach university students and perform activities. Within the scope of THK cooperation, the first protocol was signed with Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU). President of THK Istanbul Gürbüz Kaya said: "We will bring the people together with people’s Turkish Aeronautical Association".

THK Istanbul President Gürbüz Kaya also added: “We want to instill in our youth the love of aviation and aircraft. We started our activities to establish THK Club with many universities in Istanbul”

Expressing that there are new period of activities THK's wants to realize, Kaya said: “A significant part of our activities will be realized with young people. We work for the establishment of THK Club in universities with young people having aviation enthusiasm. We signed a protocol with IGU Rector Prof. Dr. Burhan Aykaç after meeting. In this way, we realized the first of our cooperation with IGU”.

“WE’LL ACHIEVE SUCCESSFUL RESULTS”

Emphasizing that IGU students hereinafter can more closely monitor developments in the field of aviation in Turkey with THK Club, IGU Rector Prof. Dr. Burhan Aykaç noted:

“We have aviation departments in the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, also in the School of Applied Sciences and the Vocational School. We aim to increase the interest, knowledge of students on aviation and organize aviation related scientific activities. Under the leadership of Head of IGU Health, Culture Sports Department Asst. Prof. Emel Tozlu, we met with THK and it helped us to sign this protocol. THK stated that it will provide all kinds of support to IGU. I believe we will achieve very successful results”.
