Under the leadership of Istanbul Gelisim University Psychology Application and Research Center Director Assoc. Prof. Alişan Burak Yaşar, Turkish Journal of Traumatic Stress (TJTS) magazine, which will bring a new breath to the field of traumatic stress, started its publication life. Founded by Assoc. Prof. Alişan Burak Yaşar, and the language editor of the journal conducted by IGU Psychology Department Res. Asst. Simay Yilmaz.
TJTS, which published its first issue in January 2025, will meet its readers with three issues a year. The journal opens its doors to all kinds of academic studies related to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and traumatic stress. A wide range of scientific publications will be included, especially clinical studies, case studies, experimental research and literature reviews. TJTS, which is among the few journals published in the field of traumatic stress worldwide, aims to address the effects of traumatic stress on individuals and societies with a more comprehensive perspective.
In addition to contributing to the academic community, the journal also aims to contribute indirectly to the treatment and support processes of individuals struggling with traumatic stress. The referee board, which consists of academicians and researchers who are experts in their fields, will prioritize scientific impartiality and quality in publication processes.
