Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) takes part in the "Innovative Technological Solutions and Business Models for Space and Satellite Systems" competition organized within the scope of the 2025 Hangar Campus Program with its three teams. With this year's theme, the Hangar Campus program invites young entrepreneurs and university students to leave their mark in the field of space technologies once again. The competition supports participating projects in a wide range of innovations from satellite communications to environmental monitoring, from integrated threat assessment systems to smart satellite networks.

Aiming to contribute to Türkiye's vision in the field of space, Hangar Campus contributes to the development of innovative business ideas and supports the technical and sectoral knowledge of the participating teams. In this context, the teams competing in the program had the opportunity to develop their projects by receiving entrepreneurship training. In addition, with the technical visit to TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industry Inc.), one of the leading institutions of the defense and aviation industry, students had an inspiring experience by making direct contact with the sector.
